Welcome to the world of Sydney collecting. The Sydney club has a membership of around 60 collectors all dedicated to sharing knowledge and information to fellow collectors and other like minded clubs. As this blog evolves we plan to post articles of general interest and offer a platform where you can ask questions regarding your collection. Experienced collectors can help with the rarity of items and we can help you dispose of unwanted items at a fair price.
The club’s official name is ‘The Antique Bottle, Ceramic and Collectables Club of Sydney Inc.’ The club is a registered non-profit organization, we meet the 1st Tuesday of each month. The meetings comprise of a short business schedule then we have an explanation of various new items discovered in the past month, basically ‘show & tell’. Members display items from their collection along a nominated theme each month and we conclude the meeting with a mini auction.
Every two years the club organizes an Antiques Fair coupled with an Exhibition this event is growing into one of Sydney’s premier Antique Fairs.
Come along and join in with a friendly crowd of collectors, all ages and collectors of all categories welcome. Paid up members are sent an e-newsletter each month with the latest news, events and a classified section with a sales and wanted list.
